  • Mineral Resource: Iron Ore.
  • Provinces: Cuanza Norte and Uíge.
  • Geology: The area presents alluvial deposits and formations from the Terreiro Group with metaquartzites and slates. Systematic geological mapping and aerogeophysical data (magnetometry and radiometry) obtained under PLANAGEO indicate significant potential for ironformations.
  • Infrastructure: Access via National Roads (220, 225, 309), proximity tothe Luanda Railway Line, and connection to the National Electricity Transmission Network

Area 2: Rare Earth Minerals and Gold Prospecting

  • Mineral Resource: Rare Earth Minerals (REE) and Gold.
  • Province: Huambo
  • Geology: The area is part of the Bailundo Granite-Migmatite Complex and the Quipungo Cuanza Supergroup, with potential occurrences of rocks containing REE and Gold. Geophysical and geochemical data from PLANAGEO are available to deepen prospecting.

Infrastructure: Access via National Road 120 and strategic use of the Lobito Corridor (Port of Lobito and Benguela Railway Line). Huíla province also offers supporting laboratory services.
